1935	Qiqihar Rail works inaugurated.
1938	HuangGuTun rolling stock works established in ShenYang.
April 23rd,1946	Qiqihar liberated; Qiqihar Rail works was renamed to Qiqihar Rolling Stock works.
Nov.1st,1948	Shenyang was liberated; HuangGuTun rolling stock works was renamed Huanggutun Locomotive and rolling stock works, Northern China General Railway Bureau.
Oct.1st,1949	P.R.CHINA founded.
1950	Huanggutun Locomotive and rolling stock works moved further north and merged with Qiqihar Rolling Stock works; the merged company was named Qiqihar Rolling Stock works, majorly involved in repair of locomotive, passenger coach and freight wagons and some new wagon production.
1951	Newly built 1200 wagons.
1953	Qiqihar Rolling Stock Works was designated by the government as a company mainly involved in freight wagon and rescue crane production in conjunction with repair work.
1965	The company expansion completed; upgraded into a company with 8000 employees and yearly production capacity of 7400 wagons.
Oct.26th,1998	Ownership that lasted for 63 years terminated; the company was re-structured as CNR Qiqihar Railway Rolling Stock (Group) Co. Ltd. (QRRS) directly affiliated to China Northern Locomotive and Rolling Stock Industry Corporation (CNR).
